Terms and Conditions
How a team order works, from mock-up to delivery, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Last updated 1 October 2026

These terms cover every order you place with Star Tagz, whether it comes through our order form, by email or by spreadsheet. They’re short and written in plain English. When you approve your mock-up and pay your invoice, you’re agreeing to them.
Star Tagz, ABN 16 837 594 388, Newcastle, NSW. “We” and “us” means Star Tagz. “You” means the person or organisation placing the order.
1. How an order works
- You send us your order details. Filling in the form doesn’t commit you to anything.
- We send you a mock-up and a quote. The quote shows the full price, including GST and delivery. It’s valid for 30 days.
- You approve the mock-up and pay the invoice in full. Your order is confirmed at that point, and not before.
- We make your order and deliver it to one address in Australia.
We can turn down any order before it’s confirmed, for example if we can’t make it well, can’t meet your date, or aren’t comfortable with the artwork.
2. Club names, logos and kit designs
Our tags reproduce your team’s kit, which usually includes a club name, a logo and sometimes sponsor marks. We don’t own those, and usually neither do you. So when you place an order, you’re confirming that:
- you’re authorised to order on behalf of the team or club
- you have permission for us to reproduce the names, logos, kit designs and any sponsor marks you’ve sent us
- you have the players’ okay, or their parents’ okay, to share their names and numbers with us
If that turns out not to be true, you’re responsible for it. If a club, sponsor or brand owner makes a claim against us because of artwork you sent us without permission, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
We check artwork before we print. We may ask for proof of permission, or decline an order, especially where professional clubs, leagues or big brands are involved.
3. Your mock-up is your sign-off
Please check your mock-up carefully, especially every name and number. When you approve it, you’re confirming that everything on it is correct.
- If we make a mistake, and the tags don’t match the mock-up you approved, we’ll remake them free.
- If the mistake was on the list you sent us, and it’s on the mock-up you approved, a remake is a new order at our normal price.
Colours on screen and colours in print never match exactly. We match your kit as closely as the materials allow, and small differences in shade aren’t a fault.
4. Price and payment
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Your quote includes delivery.
- You pay by bank transfer, in full, before we start making your order. We don’t print anything until it’s paid.
- If you want to change your order after paying, such as adding players, we’ll quote the change separately.
5. Timing and delivery
- We’ll give you an estimated delivery date with your quote. We work hard to meet it, but it’s an estimate, not a guarantee. If something’s going to slip, we’ll tell you as soon as we know.
- If you need the tags by a fixed date, like a presentation night, tell us when you order. We’ll tell you straight up whether we can make it.
- We deliver to one address in Australia. Please make sure someone can receive it.
- If your order is lost or damaged on the way to you, tell us within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we’ll sort it out.
6. Refunds and remakes
Every tag is made to order with your team’s kit and your players’ names, so we can’t resell it. That means:
- Before you’ve approved and paid: you can walk away at any time, no cost.
- After you’ve paid but before we start making it: tell us and we’ll refund you in full.
- Once we’ve started making it: we don’t give refunds if you change your mind.
None of that affects your rights if something’s actually wrong with your tags. If they’re faulty, damaged, or don’t match the mock-up you approved, contact us and we’ll repair, remake or refund them, as the law requires.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
To make a claim, email david@startagz.com with your order details and a photo of the problem. We’ll cover the cost of getting faulty tags back to us.
7. Your artwork and our designs
- You keep all rights to anything you send us.
- You let us use it to make your order, and to keep your design on file so reordering is quick. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- We never use your kit, logos or players’ names for anyone else’s order.
- We’ll only show photos of your finished tags in our marketing if you’ve said yes. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can’t be excluded.
Beyond those rights, and as far as the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen.
9. Things outside our control
If something outside our reasonable control delays or stops your order, like a supplier failure, a postal disruption or severe weather, we’ll tell you as soon as we can. If we can’t make your order within a reasonable time, you can cancel it for a full refund.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you pay your invoice is the one that applies to your order.
11. The legal bit
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
